A Proven Voice for a Safe, Connected, and Growing Lakeville

Councilmember Joshua Lee was first elected to the Lakeville City Council in 2018. Since then, he has focused on balanced growth, fiscal responsibility, and ensuring every resident has a seat at the table. During his first two terms, Joshua successfully championed:

• Fiscal Responsibility: Implementing financial policies that keep our tax rates among the lowest in the region while ensuring Lakeville remains stable for decades to come.

• Smart Growth: Supporting economic strategies that led to record-breaking development in our industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.

• Quality of Life & Recreation: Secured investments for a diverse range of community spaces, including a new splashpad, beach facilities, and a fine arts building. Joshua has advocated for expanded programming for town ball, cricket, and pickleball while strengthening vital partnerships with local athletic associations.

• Inclusive Leadership: Creating new ways for the city to listen to community concerns, with a special focus on our youth and underrepresented groups.

• Public Safety Excellence: Investing in our first responders through improved mental health support, modern training facilities, and better leave policies to keep Lakeville safe.
